Customer Review: Totally recommended, even if you don't like racing games.

There wasn't an obvious choice for me when it came to the launch line up for the PSP. I don't like sports games, I was never a straight up racing game fan and now I know I hate card games (of any sort, even MGS rip offs). I played F-Zero for the Gamecube and found it relatively amusing so I purchased Wipeout Pure as my first PSP title to hold me over. My first impression of Wipeout Pure was "Wow! This looks beautiful!" Instead of traveling so fast you never really pay attention to others on the track, like F-Zero, Wipeout has you fighting it out neck to neck with your competitors to reach the finish line. You can either find a way to pass them, ram them out of the way or use a weapon on them. However be warned, the bots in this game are temperamental and will totally try to cut your neck (especially once you have done it to them). This added element of combat makes Wipeout that much deeper than a standard racing game. Customer Review: Wipeout Pure Is Awsome!

Wipeout pure is an awsome game! I own one, and the graphics are un-explainable! The Soundtrack is great, WiFi connection is avalable, it's all there! WOW! This game is wild. After a race my heart is pounding. Because of the PSP's incredible graphics, I reallyfeel like I'm in the game.

Customer Review: A excellent remake of a Playstation classic

For all of you who have played the old and yet still fun Wipeout on the playstation, this new addition to the series is a must have. I have rated it in 3 categories that discuss different aspects of the game.
1. Gameplay- Just the game feels is fantastic. The new and improved system of different styles of weapons and extras is an exceptional addition. The ships are are extremely easy for all types of gamers to handle. The button layout is nicely spread out and easy enough for anyone at any age to learn. Overall= 4/5
2. Graphics- The graphics presented for Wipeout Pure are amazing for such a small device. The whole entire presentation is crisp and sharp as it can get. The colors are vibrant and easy enough to see in those long dark night vacation trips. Overal = 5/5
3. Capacity- The game has over 16 maps and so far from what i can see up to 12 vehicles. I do wish though it is explained in the manual how to unlock everything such as maps and different playing modes. I felt that there was a lack of overall selection but yet enough to keep me occupied for hours. Overall = 4.5/5

I think this is a very good game. The sound is good the picture are great.It is cool because it is like you are in the future.The only problem is that the game is too easy. I think it is funner than Gran Turismo and other racing games. Overall i thing the game is pretty cool. I would recomend getting this game.
