Many of you have said that you can't play games on the composite, but if you have the PSP-3000, it DOES! I don't know about the 2000, because mine broke a year ago (my 2000, of course, my 3000 is a few months old, and works fine). So if you can't play games on your 2000, stop whining!
I gave this 4 stars because when you play a game, the screen is only like half-size. Also, the visual quality could be a little better, but it's good overall.
The good thing is that it's very bright. I don't know if you can make it brighter, as mine is always on the lowest setting. Please leave a comment if you know if you can adjust brightness.
Overall, it's nice to have, and fun to use when you don't feel like bending over the little(ish) PSP screen.

I was told that I "Had to use the hdmi cables only" for the psp 3000 so i bought these just to test them out and they work just fine!! I use it to watch movies I download when I'm on the go, I plug it in to my portable screen I have in my car and presto!! it sure beats taking a wallet full of dvd's!!Customer Review: Gets the job done...

The thing that you need to keep in mind when you're buying this is what the capabilities of your PSP are. It's known that this doesn't work at all for the 1000-series. It does for the 2000-series, but you can't play games with this cable, you need the component cable. With the 3000-series, you can play games with this cable. That being said, it doesn't display with as good quality as you'd get with the component cable, but it gets the job done adequately. With both the 2000 and 3000-series PSPs you can still watch videos and play music, browse the web, basically all the basic XMB features are still available for both, just no games on the 2000. Since the 2000-series does not support interlaced output.
My PSP is the 3000-series, and I found the cable to be just fine for my needs. Just remember to do your research first.

this uv cored must be sold with the psp to play its umv disks asap. i got an update to have the psp store in my system. im satisfied with the games i already have. i get bored of psp rpg games i like the options of fighting games id buy a second psp to have one with a cleaner screen and better internet my switch is kind of flimsy i like the uv cored to play movies i downloaded from the apple store on tv
