Customer Review: Excellent and Right Size for 3000

Bought 2 of these for my kids' PSP 3000s. Though less costly than some of the other protectors, this one does what it is supposed to to do and is relatively to install if one is patient. According to the packaging these protectors also fit 1000 and 2000 series. They are made in Japan.
Prior to installing, grab a roll of scotch tape. You will need it to remove any pesky lint particles that land on the screen or stick to the sticky side of the sheet. With tape nearby and your hands grease free you are ready to install a protector:
Step 1: Get that screen clean. The included cloth is relatively lint free; so it does a good job if you use mild eye glass cleaner.
Step 2: Peel off the side of the film with the curved tab. Now you've exposed the sticky side.
Step 3: Carefully line up either the left or right side of the protector with the screen.
Step 4: Carefully apply even, light pressure to the protector progressing from one side to the other. Air bubbles, lint, and dust are the enemies. Even a tiny piece of dirt or lint will create an air bubble.
Step 4(a): If you get a bubble caused by lint, follow the instructions to carefully lift off the protector (using the scotch tape). Once that's done, use the sticky tape to dab off the lint or dust; kind of like the tape lint rollers. I was amazed at the darn lint that kept showing up in different places. This product would best be applied in the clean room of a semiconductor factory.
I found a soft, silicone spatula to be very effective at allowing me to apply smooth, even pressure (used it like a squeegee) to get rid of the bubbles not cause by lint. I have to admit, though, I gave up on getting all the lint bubbles out. When I would remove two or three, another would show up elsewhere on the screen. Though I can see the bubble when the PSP is off, when the screen is lit the bubble is invisible. I can't knock the protector for the lint caused bubble because I am certain I have could have eventually removed all the lint and dust. Of course, that probably would have required me to complete the installation in the buff wearing a hair net. All in all, I am very happy with the protectors and the way they look after installation.
