Customer Review: great gory time!
Summary: 5 Stars

Customer Review: Simple and nice
Summary: 4 Stars

I bought this game because I liked the movie. I was worried that the game might be complex and got so many features to master, however this one as so simple to learn, especially that the combos are easy to remember and execute.

You can finish this game and play it over and over, which will allow you to buy all the upgrades you need. It is fun to have, but don't expect too much if you're a hardcore gamer.

Customer Review: PSP exclusive needed a little more polish and variety...still
Summary: 4 Stars

Here is what I liked about 300 March to Glory for the PSP
PROS:
Good voice acting, nice bonus interviews with Frank Miller and several trailers for 300 the film that look cool on the PSP screen as well as other unlockable comic art etc...
Neutrals:
The gameplay is basically a little bit hack n' slash, a little bit strategy and little bit of RPG (very little)upgrading is cool and different methods of killing are satisfying to learn and execute but the game needed more variety in between the fighting besides God of War style minigames. Basically you will be holding L trigger to block hits and getting in specific style hits on bosses etc when they are vulnerable, not bad but not groundbreaking gameplay either.
Cons:
On certain levels the ground rolls by like one of those old car racing games where the road moved under the vehicles.
Decent enough, but not great if you like Frank Miller and the film adaptation I say give it a shot, but you might want to wait till the price drops.

Customer Review: Small bursts of fun, but just a typicaly generic hack & slasher at heart
Summary: 2 Stars

Zack Snyder's big screen adaptation of Frank Miller's 300 was a smash hit, so naturally a video game adaptation seemed inevitable. 300: March to Glory follows Spartan king Leonidas and his small army of Spartan warriors as they take on the invading Persian army. While 300 features some great sound effects, music, blood effects, and overall style; it's ultimately empty in the gameplay department. At it's core, 300 is a generic hack & slasher/clumsy beat 'em up featuring a horde of recurring enemies and moments where you'll attain some special abilities to spice things up. The graphics are stiff, jerky, and don't really do a whole lot to push the power of the PSP, while the voice work featured throughout (even though David Wenham is the only cast member from the film to be featured in the game) is excellent as well. The jerky camera, stiff animation, and the unimaginitive and lame combat system are what really hurts 300 as a whole though, which is sad because the game could have been something pretty good had more time been put into it's development. That being said, if you're a fan of the 300 film or graphic novel, or you just want to play a quick hack & slash on the go for your PSP, 300: March to Glory is worth checking out, but in the end though, it's better left on the shelf.

Customer Review: 300-March to Glory
Summary: 4 Stars

I liked the game alot. You were able to explore more that was not shown in the motion picture. Loved the phalanx feature. Only downer was that you aren't able to jump, other than that I thought the game was great. Graphics are decent considering it's on the PSP, game play is awesome, especially the spear throwing aspect and the upgradeable moves and weapons.
