Video Game Reviews of Monster Hunter Freedom 2Customer Review: Excellent, but go with Unite instead Summary: 4 StarsWhile this game won't be for everyone, those who do like it will love it.
However, be aware that Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is actually the same as this game, plus an assortment of extras like new monsters and new features. Unless the difference in price is extremely compelling to you, you'd do better buying Monster Hunter Freedom Unite.
Customer Review: Awesome Summary: 5 StarsI've played a lot of games. This has got to be one of the best RPGs that you can get a hold of. It deals with a great variety of "know-how and reaction". Keeping in mind, it's got a little something for someone who likes to be a First-person shooter or someone who like to hack away at their enemies. Overall, this game should be given a chance, at best. Don't let a demo screw you on a good game.
Customer Review: If you're a loot whore...... Summary: 5 StarsThere's no reason why you shouldn't give this game a glance. Fans of rpgs that incorporates monster hunting for loots will devour this awesome franchise and with those loots you can make armors, weapons and other stat boosters to take on bigger, badder monsters that kicked your sorry behind before. And hunting your worst nightmare never looked this good, sure the game starts slow just like any of its kind (aren't they ever?) But if you give few hours it demands, you will see the game for what it is; addicting+awesome=one gigantic rpg ride! Overall, I highly recommend this game for individuals with monk like patience and wits, casual gamers who just sees this as an eye candy and lacks patience need not pick up this game...it's painstakingly hard in a good way!
Customer Review: Greatest Franchise in Action RPGs. Summary: 5 StarsThis game follows a definite line of great games. We only see a few of them such as Monster Hunter for PS2, Monster Hunter Freedom, and then Monster Hunter Freedom 2, with Unite on its way. Capcom released that the day Monster Hunter Freedom 2G was released in Japan production for all of Japan dropped 47% that day. Now that is a huge statistic. This game has a few million addicts in the US but this franchise runs Japan. You can't walk down a street without seeing action figures or posters. They even have a psp MHF2g combo package.
This game is very fun. Alone it is quite hard, but if you have a friend or a few friends that play this game with you, it's very addictive. With consoles ruling most of America's agenda, it hasn't takin on the full effect it has elsewhere. Now if your the only one that has this game or you and a buddy want to link up with others and play. I recommend something called Xlink Kai, it turns your computer into an adhoc hub, allowing you to link your psp to your computer and play with people around the world.
This can be done with any PSP game that has adhoc mode, but like me if you go on there all you see is MHF series. It's a very addictive game that puts you up against monsters 2x to 100x your size with just a hammer, or a sword twice your size, or a bow. There are 9 different types of weapons and hundreds of different wepons in each type.
If you own a PSP this is the game to get.
Customer Review: play with xlink kai Summary: 5 Starsnormally I wouldn't buy this game because there wasn't a online multiplayer function with it but since I've learned about xlink kai, I've been able to play online with many other players.
